Description
This position is for a small start up firm with demonstrated success and and a prosperous future. The company is based in Jersey City. They are looking for a strategic thinker, someone who can think outside of the box, and someone who can wear many hats. There are 2 positions with the technical skills described below. They are looking for a Junior and a Senior candidate for this role with experience in Market Data.

Server-side C++ Programmer

The applicant should have several years' professional experience programming multi-threaded server applications in C++ on at least one of the Windows, Unix or Linux platforms.

An understanding of data structures and their appropriate application, performance measurement and analysis, threading, inter-process communication, networking, and SQL databases is required.

Familiarity with some or all of Visual Studio, Subversion, CVS, Doxygen, CppUnit, STL, Boost, the GNU toolchain, and Sybase ASE is useful.

Demonstrated skill and experience in high-performance multi-threaded network server design and implementation, particularly in financial market data, will be very well regarded.df-tc
