POSITION SUMMARY: Currently, we have an excellent career opportunity available for a Communications Manager. Work with Marketing team to design, develop and execute marketing strategies and marketing communication objectives in coordination with business units or corporate and global contacts to meet organizational objectives.

Manage marketing programs through successful completion, including plan and strategy development and results tracking.

Supports brand activation and compliance.

Position has the following responsibilities:

? Event management for corporate meetings collaborating with procurement to ensure events are properly aligned from a strategic perspective
? Rationalize corporate meeting activities
o Identify best practices, to improve overall quality and eliminate duplication of resources
o Promote alignment with corporate standards
? Develop and coordinate activation of strategic marketing plan and marketing communication initiatives for specified business unit or service globally
? Relationship management with internal & marketing clients, and vendors
? Track outcomes of marketing initiatives and projects to evaluate (and improve) results
? Support global branding and marketing initiatives - i.e. 2007 external brand launch event

Professional Education
? Marketing degree and 5-8 years relevant experience or equivalent.
? Demonstration of ongoing education in the field of Communications or Marketing

? Excellent personal interaction skills - strong networking ability.
? Self-driven, proactive, and dynamic individual with inspired confidence
? Can act independently and make appropriate decisions while keeping management informed.
? Must be able to exercise keen judgment
? Must have a proven track record of managing multiple priorities, related issues, and projects simultaneously to success
? Ability to interact effectively with senior management across the business enterprise
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
? Working understanding of the re, risk brokerage and consulting business processes preferred
