Job Description:

The Marketing Specialist reports to the Director of Marketing and works cohesively with all other roles in the marketing group. The Marketing Specialist will be involved in a number of initiatives including:

? Manage and administer the marketing budget, including purchase orders, invoices and vendor relations
? Enter new prospects and leads into company database(s)
? Maintain and enhance our existing customer database, ensuring we can leverage customer information for ongoing marketing campaigns
? Develop and track reports and metrics for all marketing activities, including lead metrics, campaign ROI, Web site metrics
? Assist in the development of customer retention programs such as surveys, renewal campaigns, opt-in and opt-out programs, user groups, newsletters and focus groups.
? Assist in other marketing activities such as direct mail, events/seminars, webinars, and e-mail campaigns.

Experience:

? 2 to 5 years of marketing and/or marketing analysis experience
? Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
? Strong analytical and organizational skills
? Ability to multi-task and remain detail-oriented
? Ability to quickly master new software tools
? Possess creativity, enthusiasm, ambition, and sound business judgment
? Bachelors degree in marketing or business, or equivalent combination of education and experience
? Strong computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, desktop applications) skills
? Database/ data mining skills a plus
? Experience in a high-tech marketing setting a major plus
