Description
* Working as part of a team of Mass Properties Engineers supporting the Heavy Lift Replacement (HLR) Program.* Specific responsibilities include the solicitation and identification of weight improvement proposals, proactive review of designs for minimum weight, computation of mass properties (analytically and using computer software applications).* Support of the preparation of internal and customer status reports, and the preparation of data/records for input into weight accounting databases. * Candidate should be familiar with MIL-STD 1374 (or SAWE RP 8). * Familiarity with weight reporting format.* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. * Experience with CAD (preferably CATIA) for mass properties analysis. * Individual should have broad, general knowledge of air vehicle design and manufacturing techniques.* Must be self-starting and proactive. * At least 5 years experience in the Mass Properties discipline. * Drug Screening* Background Check* U.S. Citizenship Apply directly at: ?r=gaddf-tc
