The Master Data Architect position is a technical, hands-on role. You will undertake Master Data Management initiatives within the Global Data Development Services organization.
The highly skilled candidate will have experience implementing MDM solutions, providing technical guidance to other resources, managing projects on a global basis, and have experienced in a variety of software development concepts and practices for complex n-tier, service-oriented development environment.
The MDM Architect will have a strong level of experience in the following: Developing technical specifications for Master Data Management (MDM) tools/applications Technical MDM architecture design, development, and implementation Leading successful technical MDM implementations Design and develop taxonomies for data entity categorizations and relationships Define and develop data attributes and their respective characteristics Design and develop metadata definitions and storage management Design, development, testing, and maintenance of Web forms for master data entry and maintenance Design, development, testing, and maintenance of business process workflows Design, development, testing, and maintenance of data validation rules for standards and compliance enforcement Design, development, testing, and maintenance of master data security controls Designing meta data management techniques Experience in data integration across multiple systems with leading EAI and/or ETL tools Knowledge of Data Quality Management practices Familiarity with Data Governance concepts and practices.

Experience/Skills
Qualifications · BS degree or related experience · Health & Life Sciences experience a plus· A minimum of 3+ years relevant technical experience with Master Data Management (MDM), · Customer Data Integration (CDI), or Product Information Management (PIM) initiatives· Understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling· Solid understanding of service oriented architectures, application frameworks and data integration methods.· Working knowledge of development and software design on J2EE platforms · Must have excellent project management and problem solving skills · Experience with full lifecycle development projects, and Agile methodologies · Familiarity with emerging technologies and software development best practices, particularly related to Enterprise Data Development
