JOB TITLE: RFID SYSTEMS ANALYST

Primary Skills:

Familiarity with Transportation and Logistics processes.
Familiarity with Relational Databases.
Windows CE.NET 4.2 OS Software.
Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center.
Writing and executing SQL.
RFID Technology.
Bar Code Technology.


Purpose of Position:

Support Field and Back Office users of the Material Control RFID system.

Maintain the RFID system for multiple projects.

Analyze, Develop and Implement changes to the RFID system.

Communicate with RFID Suppliers, MC Back office Personnel, and Site Personnel regarding the administration of a secure and normalized RFID system.

Make improvements to Reports, data structure, applications, and procedures.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain Data Integrity across Multiple Projects.

Analyze and adapt data from related systems and format to fit TIS data structure (i.e. KANLOG, MEPAW, SAP, site applications, etc.).

Assist Site Personnel and Back Office personnel with various RFID modules by providing training, and troubleshooting support.

Communicate and maintain data exchange with various factories, outside vendors, and job site Material Control Coordinators.

Maintain Data Security throughout the various processes.

Research alternative approaches to RFID focused problems.

Expand use of barcode code and other available technologies to improve RFID processes at the job sites.

50% Travel.


Requirements:

Minimum five years experience using Microsoft-based technology required.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage emergency situations as required.

Familiarity with RFID Systems, Transportation and Logistics processes.

Strong verbal communication skills to work with users to assess their required needs.

Advanced product knowledge of RFID Systems.

Experience working on active business applications.

Ability to follow instructions (code and business logic) from a specification with minimal guidance.

Advanced coding, testing and debugging experience.

Advanced SQL syntax knowledge and experience.

Advanced Object Oriented coding methodologies.

Associate degree in a computer related field, or equivalent work experience.

Advanced Windows CE.NET coding, testing and debugging experience for Mobile Devices.df-tc
