Description
Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a MCKESSON HOM CLINICAL CONSULTING SPECIALIST to join our MCKESSON PRACTICE GROUP.

*The qualified candidate will possess the required skills, education, and certification, and will be able to travel to client locations throughout the United States 75% and work from home 25%.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform design activities regarding "best practice" solutions and standards for advanced clinical applications including CPOE
  • Perform data collection, current/future state assessments, process improvement, governance, and change control
  • Understand file building, documentation, and education/training for advanced clinical implementation projects
  • Serve as the primary contact for the application design and any issues that arise from the client
  • Assisting the client with development of systems operations, policies, and application monitoring
  • Assist the implementation team as required

    Required Skills:
  • RN, acute hospital experience
  • Ability to communicate and work with physicians
  • Strong project management skills
  • McKesson HEO implementation experience
  • Good communication skills

    Desired Skills:
  • Installed McKesson applications including HED, HCI, HEO and or HOM MS Project
  • 3 years in a management role within a hospital
  • Ability to work effectively with limited direction

    Minimum Educational Requirements:
  • RN

    Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
  • McKesson HED/HEO certification preferred
