McKesson HSM Expert

Continental Technologies is working in Tandem with one of our prominent clients to fill an existing position for an Applications Analyst III.

This position's responsibilities key contributions will be in the build, configuration, implementation and support of the implementation of McKesson Horizon Surgery Manager (HSM). The hospital is migrating from the PICIS or Manager system to HSM.

Following the successful implementation of Horizon Surgery Manager (HSM) the position will change to support role, as a member of the Information Systems Department.

Key Experience:
Proven past experience implementing HSM
Working in Preoperative Services or an Outpatient Surgery Center a plus
5-10 years of experience in the MIS department doing similar type of work
Ability to communicate verbally along with written documentation, telephone, and computers
Ability to read product manuals, guides, and complex reports
Possess an advanced level of MS Office Suite and other computer skills
Ability to attend off-site meetings, seminars, and professional conferences
Demonstrated ability to make decisions and solve complex operations with little or no direct supervisions
Ability to perform a high level of mentoring for other team members
Strong record of attendance
Minimum of 3 years experience in the Healthcare Industry
Possess an understanding of Healthcare workflows
Be extremely motivated, a self starter, and able to work in a team environment
Candidate will participate in on-call rotation
