Description
The MMIS provides for various subsystems within a multi-payer environment (one system shared by multiple agencies) with several system interfaces. This position will serve as a technical advisor for the requirements analysis, design, development, implementation and testing of the Reference subsystem. Knowledge of Medicaid is essential.
Skills, Expertise and Abilities:
Required:
1) Experience in working with an operational claims processing
component of a Medicaid Fiscal Agent or other large
healthcare claims processing organization.
2) Experience in a healthcare or healthcare-related environment
3) Experience with Impact analysis/Gap analysis
4) Excellent interpersonal/interviewing/communications skills
5) Technical writing/documentation skills
6) Experience with large scale projects crossing many
functional areas
7) Experience developing technical and non-technical solutions
for supporting business process reengineering
8) Experience with Issues and Risk Management
9) Proficiency with MS Office
10) Experience with PC/Lan, client/server, and internet
technologies
11) Excellent interviewing skills
12) Proficiency in time management
