Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. The Perot Systems Healthcare Consulting Practice is currently looking for a Medical Director of Healthcare Consulting to serve our provider clients throughout the United States.

Job Responsibilities:
The individual assuming this role will lead other physicians in our Healthcare Consulting practice, and develop, sell and deliver consultative service lines with significant physician components. He or She will provide Quality Assurance on active physician engagements and oversee physician service piece on projects across the Healthcare Consulting practice. This professional will work with our business development team as requested by sales, assist in the production of whitepapers, and participate in setting strategy for Healthcare Consulting practice.

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years Clinical Practice Experience as Physician
  • 2+ years experience with healthcare IT systems, through project work (implementations, upgrades) or steady state operational support
  • This role requires extensive travel, up to 80%.

    Desired Skills:
  • 3+ years Consulting experience strongly preferred
  • Medical Informatics background preferred
  • Successfully participated in one or more clinical transformation projects in an academic medical center / research facility or large provider organization, delivering software to enable new functional capabilities (e.g., EMR/EHR, CPOE, MAR/MAC, etc.)

    Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:
  • MD


    • Applicants exploring this opportunity may live anywhere in the contiguous United States but must be prepared to travel extensively, up to 80%.
