Crowe's Middle Market Consulting Unit has an initiative underway to expand its Microsoft services and solutions to organizations in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. The sales position created will be primarily focused on developing business in organizations around Microsoft's technical and application solutions.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creating and maintaining relationships with key Microsoft personnel in Northern Illinois (mainly for lead referral purposes).
Sales of technical and application software solutions and services.
Working with Crowe's internal marketing structure so as to bring about Microsoft seminar events and other marketing activities in Northern Illinois.
Developing Crowe's presence in Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin as a top provider of Microsoft services and solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a good understanding of the Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin marketplace, especially middle market sized organizations.
Demonstrated outstanding networking and relationship building skills with third parties (especially Microsoft), preferably to have sold Microsoft solutions and services experience within Northern Illinois.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to promote and sell Crowe's services.
Use of solution selling concepts when interacting with prospects, formulating solutions and creating proposals.
Demonstrated strong commitment to prospecting, cold calling, and follow through to bring about desired sales results.
Understanding of Microsoft technical and application software solutions to recognize opportunities to advance Crowe's presence (specifically knowledge of the following kinds of Microsoft solutions is important: Content Management Server, SQL Server, BI, Commerce Server, Sharepoint, Biz-Talk, .Net Development Tools, Customer Relationship Management, and Great Plains Enterprise).
Strong business and Microsoft technical acumen.



Preferred Skills:

5 years sales of intangibles, solutions, consulting services or technology to Northern Illinois marketplace organizations.
Certifications in various Microsoft technical and application software solutions.

Must be able to:
Communicate articulately with both technical and non-technical users.
Communicate well through correspondence and electronic mail.
Understand, diagnose, and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
Willingly take responsibility/ownership of assignments and make independent decisions.
In addition, you must have a willingness to work flexible hours and handle emergencies as they arise, demonstrate you are able to organize and prioritize your work, be able to operate both independently as well as a part of a team, and demonstrate that you have outstanding communication skills to effectively identify opportunities to advance Croweâ??s position in the middle market area of Central Indiana Northern Illinois.
