We have an immediate need for a Microstation Drafter

JOB DESCRIPTION

Experienced using Microstation in a work setting.

Petrochemical Industry experience is preferred.

Prepares routine to moderately difficult engineering and constructions drawing (comprised of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, etc.) from rough sketches or from general engineering and design information, utilizing CAD drafting/design techniques.

Performs related engineering support, which is not completely standardized or prescribed.

Performs basic discipline design tasks as directed by immediate supervisor.

References information from vendor prints, catalogs, technical manuals, etc and interfaces with engineers as required.

Field notes are neatly arranged, accurate and complete.

Sketches are readable by anyone and include all pertinent dimensions, notes and job number.

All material is signed and dated with job numbers.

May interface with constructions crews during construction phase to provide and receive input relative to accuracy of drawings, coordination of shutdowns and to expedite the timely and efficient completion of the project.

Uses time efficiently.
