Description
Key Responsibilities:
- This role is for an AVP level PMO resource to assist the Chief of Staff for the Strategic Process Change group, primarily focused on a large new Program for the department.
- Responsible for maintaining a fully operational Program Management Office with best practice business processes for but not limited to:
* Status reporting
* Project planning & integration
* PMO infrastructure
* Governance
* Quality management
* Impact management
* Program communication
- Creating, updating and consolidating project plans, must be expert in MS Project - this is a key responsibility of the role***
- Creating status reports & key program metrics, must be highly skilled in MS Excel
- Applying Project Management Methodologies to develop appropriate solutions and standardize across Program

Experience and Skills Required:
- Minimum four to six years Project Management Office Experience on large global financial programs. Person should have played past roles as described in the Job

Description
- Real Program Management Office delivery experience.
- Ability to learn and understand the content
- Ability to multi-task in a fast pace environment
- Ability to facilitate
- Strong presentation skills including creating well executed executive management materials
- Power user in the following Microsoft applications: Project, PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
- Knowledge of formal project management methods.
- Strong communications skills at all levels

- Very detailed focused - Type A' personality
- Flexible. Must be able to handle multiple requests with varying priorities
- Adoptable. Must be able to work with differing personality traits to get a quality end product
- Proactive. Continuously looking for process improvement/enhancements
- Confident. Must be able to execute and communicate in a manner that commands respect

Desired Skills:
- Ideally has also spent time with a leading consulting firm (top 5) and or strategy firm within financial services
- Graduate from top university with good honors degree
