Description
The technicians will be working under the instruction of a client lead, and will perform a tech refresh/ XP Migration for approximately 1100 systems. The technicians will follow the processes developed by client that are designed to direct the technicians on how to perform the complete migration including backup, image, restore and install applications. Technicians may also be required to provide minimal PDS. Lead technician will be responsible for migrations as well as Training new SBS staff Escalations Tracking and entering hours into SA Providing information and reports to SBS and Monster on a daily basisMigrations thru Feb will take place during normal business hours. In March migrations will take place in the evenings.

Requirements:

Tech must attend all day training on 1/9 Jan 9th At minimum A+ certification, certifications and MCP and/or MCSE certification a plus Excellent customer relationship skills Good hardware and software troubleshooting skills Proficiency in handling client connectivity issues Ability to provide desk side orientation to end users Good Windows XP and MS Office application knowledge General application knowledge Experience with deployments and post deployment support a plus
