Our client has an immediate opening for a Build Engineer to help development and drive improvements into their current build\lab processes. This is a new team and a great opportunity for the right person to really help shape the way this company does business going forward.

The Build Engineer will to help turn vision into reality by contributing to the build environment and lab setup for the team. This position will require intimate knowledge of build best practices, understanding of how to automate tools within the build environment, manage the lab infrastructure, and managing the device automated environment to verify the build. You will leverage your experience to assess and implement improvements and increase build reliability and performance. You will have the opportunity to advocate and implement necessary changes to evolve the build technologies to support wide-ranging deliveries to internal and external customers. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to support release processes, debug build breaks, escalating as needed, and contribute to source code integrations across various source depot branches as needed. You'll be working with creative minds and industry acclaimed software solutions to create consistent quality builds of the product which will deepen your knowledge and enhance your experience.df-tc

Experience/Skills
  • 3+ years of product development and build experience
  • Experience with source depot or similar source code control
  • Knowledge of build technologies and tools
  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Batch, PERL, VBScript)
  • Windows CE or Windows Mobile experience
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work within a team with minimal supervision
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of ASP, SQL and/or C# a strong plus
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required
