Description
CCCi has an excellent opportunity for a Movius Voicemail Operations Engineer. You will provide remote technical support to the nationwide operating Movius voicemail messaging network. Responsible for provisioning the voicemail database s that interface our clients switch markets. Responsible for coordinating with local markets on all hardware and software updates related to the Movius product. Maintain backups and coordinate restorals of software for all voicemail products. Assist customers (Corporate/Systems) with all voicemail related issues. Monitor and take action on all (service and non- service affecting) voicemail database and customer level issues. Also assist our clients operations, integration and development teams with applications requiring voicemail interface. Responsibilities include: Supporting all Movius voicemail products, working with the systems to resolve all (Non/Service related issues). Responsible for interfacing/supporting all of our clients related voicemail products (Movius). Interface with vendor for all hardware and software related issues. Provide Tier 2 - 3 support for all voicemail products. Assist all markets with new software/hardware growth. Responsible for all customer specific requests for new applications. Work on call rotation 24 x 7 for support of voicemail network, with a flex schedule. Create/assist on all preventative maintenance procedures.

Hardware Experience Required: Voicemail products, Movius Legacy, ICE, SMU, SGF, Foundry, and Cisco. Basic telephony and networking protocols experience. T1 facilities, DSX, MF trunks and SS7 trunks. Software Experience Required: SIP, T1, SS7, HTTP, SMTP, SMS, SMDI, IS41D and Unix/Linux. Qualifications: BSEE degree or equivalent field experience in relevant field. 3-5 years of industry experience. Prior experience working with voicemail systems. An understanding of wireless telephony technologies. An in-depth understanding of telephone standards and specifications related to digital switch. A working knowledge of LINUX or other UNIX like OS is desired. Experience in the fundamentals of software translations and business features such as CENTREX/PBX systems. Must be able to direct and instruct personnel through technical resolution of problems. Written and oral communications along with analytical and problem solving skills are essential. Proficient in using standard computer hardware and software systems.
