Description
This individual will be responsible for the video, photographic documentation, and program creation for all LM Aero products. Location of assignment is Palmdale, California. In this assignment, the individual will be responsible for capturing and editing assigned video productions. Will be required to determine concept, theme, and budget based on client interface. Advise and direct professional and non-professional on-camera and voice over talent on the requirements and objectives of the project. Determine appropriate utilization of advanced editing techniques using non-linear and digital post production systems. Will be required to lead the post production activity to include final edit, music selection, sound effects, special video effects, and 3D animation. This position may also require aerial documentation with both stills and video in high performance aircraft. The candidate may be required to pass a FAA Class Two Medical for this requirement.



Must have a detailed working knowledge of linear and non-linear video editing equipment, several types of professional video formats to include Digital BetaCam and DV, and must possess skills in still photography both conventional and digital. Must have an in-depth knowledge of camera applications, location lighting, studio lighting techniques, and related audio equipment. Applicant needs to be creative, have good communication skills (written and oral), and work effectively with team members and customers. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.



Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in related discipline, or equivalent experience, plus 6-9 years of professional experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered equivalent to the degree requirement. Case-by-case evaluation must occur.



General Position Description
Researches, prepares, and produces audiovisual film or videotape for closed-circuit television material for use by the company's field sales force for training or sales promotion purposes and/or by the corporate office for other communicative purposes. Consults with the appropriate field or corporate personnel to determine which of their requirements can best be served by using film or videotape. Researches and prepares the material, writes scripts, selects visual aids, music, sound effects, etc. Creates and/or develops interactive multimedia/CD-ROM technology for audiovisual purposes. Serves as producer once the material is ready for shooting. May supervise contracted personnel or 3rd party vendors.

Typical Minimum Education
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
