1st requirement Sr. Project Manager

Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 12 months

Short Description: Experienced PM needed to manage changes to the Talent Management Systems at Client Complete Description: Project manager is needed to manage two related projects in parallel. The scope of one will include the redesign of the currently deployed SAP Performance Management System (P3), and the second involves an upgrade to the Talent Pipeline tool (Nakisa) and a broader rollout of the tool and process throughout the company. The candidate will work along with one or IT business analsysts, and with the business to determine project approach, gather, develop and document business requirements, and create and manage a project plan. Must have solid project management routines and leadership skills. Must have previous experience leading GLOBAL HR SAP initiatives, and have a clear understanding of local variations in requirements and practices. Regular job responsibilities include documentation of requirements, leading status meetings, updating project documentation including issues, status reports, risks, and project schedules/timelines. Must have the ability to adapt to PMO and IT Governance practices in place at CLIENT. Project is expected to have a duration of 9 months with the strong possibility for future phases.

Functional Skills. Data Modeling: Knowledge of data modelling procedures and the ability to identify and clearly define the entities (eg, persons, places, things, concepts and events) and associations between them about which the business must keep data. Data and Information Standards Integration: Knowledge of and ability to apply CLIENT data and information standards in CLIENT global applications. Includes the ability to identify the need for additional standards to meet business requirement for integrated information across the Company. IT Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the key directional trends and emerging technologies in the IT industry. Includes knowledge of the key vendors, their strategic and tactical plans, and internal/external advisory services. Process Modeling: Knowledge of process modelling procedures and the ability to decompose business processes by taking into account software and system capabilities and to ensure reuse, integration, maintainability and efficiency. Technology to Business/Business to Technology: Ability to translate technical information for a business audience and business information for a technical audience. Technology Research and Application to Business Problems: Knowledge of IT research methods and procedures. Includes the knowledge of technical trends and the ability to apply technologies to address business needs. SAP HR Solution Configuration: Ability to provide advice and develop a detailed design and customized configuration to support new business processes and procedures.

Work Activities. Analyze business requirements (eg, functional and technical requirements, information need, business processes) by conducting information- gathering sessions with clients, analysing the information and prioritizing the requirements to gain understanding of the business needs. Develop process models based on business requirements in order to determine the completeness of the information and process components. Develop logical data model based on business requirements in order to determine the completeness of the information and process components (eg, Data Flow Diagram, Entity Relationship Models). Design business transactions based on business requirements in order to determine the completeness of the information and process components. Coordinate the analysis of proposed projects (high-level project descriptions) with technology service providers (eg, application development or infrastructure service providers) in order to determine resource requirements (people, hardware, software) and to provide consistent communication during the planning process. Validate with client senior management identified business system or information infrastructure directions in order to prioritize high level project descriptions. Identify and integrate cross-function projects (eg, decision support, Web development, SAP) in order to achieve synergy and expose commonality.
