Description
We are conducting a search for a mid level DBA to join our client as a full time direct hire employee. This position is located in the Ogden area. Interested candidates please email a copy of your resume to paul@cprecruiting.com.

Responsibilities
- Administer MySQL development, test, and production databases
- Define and document procedures for development on MySQL databases
- Assist the quality assurance department in testing applications and services which interact with MySQL
- Responsible for table and patch update creation and management.
- Responsible for "data loading" new tables and assist in DB design, critical design review points and deliverables.

Requirements:

- Experience with UNIX/Linux systems and utilities
- Familiarity with SQL and basic concepts such as table joins and set operations
- Previous experience maintaining and/or developing MySQL databases
- Ability to automate reports and processes via the shell (sh, ksh, or bash) or similar UNIX/Linux tools (perl, awk) Some Java programming will be required.
-Four to five years relational database experience required.
