DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Account responsibilities
? Day-to-day technical expertise and support on large accounts
? Able to build strong technical relationships at the highest levels
? Assist the sales director with account plans to drive new business
? First line of support for all technical issues related to the account
? Onsite support for all pre-sales lab trials and beta trials
? Ability to determine customer network solutions and designs
? Responsible for product implementation into the network
? Ability to present all Product introductions including detailed technical product presentations and introductions
? Onsite training for all products
? Communication with PLM to drive new product features and new product markets.
? Required travel 50%


Skills and experience:
Candidate should have strong communication and presentation skills, strong technical background in routing, security and broadband, must be able to work as part of a team and alone, must be able to communicate effectively with the customer, sales team, Technical support and PLM. He/She must be a self-starter and take initiative within the accounts assigned to provide solutions for complex technical issues. Must be able to support day-to-day activites on many accounts at the same time, Should have knowledge of the Cisco CLI and NMS/EMS management, TCP/IP, Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, ISIS, Virtual routing based architectures; Security: Firewalls, IPSec, DOS and IDS/IPS, and Voice over IP.

Qualifications and Education:
4-10 years experience. Network Consultant or System Engineer experience in a field sales organization. Experience supporting and working with large telecommunications accounts in North America. A complete understanding of the service provider market place. BS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Computer Science (BSCS) or equivalent course work in data communications or comparable/equivalent experience in a technical training discipline.df-tc
