We have an immediate need for a NETAPP SME- WORK FROM HOME

JOB DESCRIPTION
Skills needed are Netapp will be on the account



Here are some projects being worked.

Person will be sole SME Netapp resource and handles all their projects.The 4 main projects that come to mind are the following.

They will have have other responsibilities as identified on the accounts for Disk Admin.



A) Code Upgrades

B) Moving Disk Trays to alternate locations

C) OPS MGR training to 4 teams

D) New contract signing with Netapp being the new environment choice



The projects currently being worked are 15 Netapp boxes are being scheduled for code upgrades with a completion date of approximately 11/15/09. This code upgrade will enable deduplication. The second project is moving disk trays from a core location of Ryebrook NY to Richmond VA due to wrap up approximately 10/15/09 and the third is OPS manager application training and other training given to team mates as needed. This is for monitoring/management/alerting for Nseries Netapp boxes. There will be another project coming to standardize Netapp as the new environment which will create a huge workload to the environment of migrating off other boxes and standardizing to Netapp. Person would also provide level 2 support for all problems that the team encounters that they cannot handle.
