Requirements:

We are looking for a motivated self-starter with a strong network background and security experience. This is an exciting, fast paced environment with numerous opportunities to take part in a variety of network initiatives.

Position Summary:

? Responsible for the protection, support, and delivery of secure network services to Acxiom's major clients.
? Perform network architectural design and integration, performance engineering, and problem resolution for complex cross-functional network related projects.
? Identify and document design/architecture best practices for global adoption.
? Provide training to other engineers as well as real-time escalation response for support issues.

Required Skills:

? Expert level networking troubleshooting experience in large scale IP environments.
? Knowledge and demonstrated operating experience in more than one of the following
technologies: LAN/MAN/WAN design, Frame Relay, MPLS, VoIP, QOS, optical networking, wireless, VPN, & remote access.
? Knowledge of network management, network availability, & capacity planning.
? Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills.
? Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and strong presentation skills.
? Strong problem solving skills: ability to assess a problem and determine an effective
course of action.
? Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member.

Nice to have Skills and Experience:

? Nokia, Checkpoint and Cisco security platforms
? Network/security forensics
? Unix administration
? Firewall, IDS/IPS, proxy logs
? Network and security Disaster Recovery
? Contingency planning
? Documentation and process skills

Education:

Candidate should possess 7+ years of relevant experience with key network vendor solutions i.e. Cisco, Juniper, Force10, F5 Labs, CheckPoint, etc. Typically requires BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent. CCNP & CCDP certification desired.
