Description
In this position, you will work with Network Operations and Engineering groups to develop and implement test plans and test procedures for wireless network environments. You will write scripts for automating tests and develop quality assurance standards. You will define and track quality assurance metrics for wireless networks. You will create Bug report documents, monitor bugs and verify that the bugs have been resolved.

Requirements:

4+ years Experience in testing networked client / server applications
3+ years Experience in testing wireless networks * Strong knowledge of testing various networking protocols like HTTP, 802.11a/b/g, 802.1x
In depth understanding of Black Box as well as White box testing
Experience testing client side Javascript
Experience in HTML, Javacript, CSS, XML, XSL
Experience writing simple scripts in Perl, Bash or other scripting language.
Familiar with wireless access points, access controllers, gateways
Familiar with testing on Windows 9x, 2000, XP, MacOS X, Palm and Pocket PC.
Familiar with GUI and command-level testing tools. * Familiar with MS-Access, MS-Excel and MS-Word
BS degree in Computer Science or related fields
Ability to identify and report bugs, provide detailed analysis, and track to resolution.
Strong knowledge of Quality engineering principles and practice
Ability to design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and test plans.
Experience providing detailed analysis of test case failures
Experience reviewing internal specifications and providing feedback.
Expert knowledge with Wi-Fi and Internet testing
Working knowledge of software product life cycle.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-changing startup environment
