Description
Robert Half Technology is currently working with one of the premier energy organizations in Atlanta, GA to located a Business Systems Manager for their growing team. The primary responsibilities will include providing overall management and direction of activities in the areas of:
  • Process Definition to support company’s corporate objectives in the areas of Operational support, including marketing, field operations and financial areas
  • Develop and enhance system requirements to support process automation
  • Deploy solutions needed to meet the delivery of operational excellence to the user community
  • IT management experience in Project Management and methodology including scope, schedule and risk management of projects Consulting/external resource management
  • Systems application development lifecycle

Additional responsibilities will include a strong functional background combined with a proven track record in:

  • Customer Relationship Management application and Field Service solutions
  • Deployment and maintenance of enterprise applications and implementation of on-going production support of applications
  • Knowledge and experience with workflow automaton tool and data exchange standards and practices; BizTalk preferred
  • Experience in enterprise application integration technologies
  • Wireless and mobile applications deployment methodology and project management

Experience/Skills
The ideal candidate for this position will have the right mix of management and technical experience as well as the following:
  • A 4-year college degree in the technology related field or equivalent experience, master’s degree a plus
  • Candidate must have 7 - 10+ years experience in business application integration within a high-tech industry
  • Minimum 5+ years experience managing personnel and multiple projects simultaneously
  • A broad understanding of delivering enterprise application and web-based solutions, including, intranets, extranets, and software as a service
  • The ideal candidate will also have experience and understanding electronic data exchange
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong background in both Servers, AS400, Oracle, DR, and Networking
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to understand and add value to high-level management interactions, with a proven ability to design, creative technology strategies to solve business needs.
  • Six Sigma, ITIL, CMM, PMP, or any other process management certification
