One of our clients located in Fontana, CA is looking for a NPI Analyst (New Product Introduction). ** ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS ** Requirements: Two to four years' relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent Knowledge and understanding of the design process for systems and printed circuit boards Knowledge and understanding of systems and printed circuit board manufacturing processes and equipment Knowledge of industry and quality standards Knowledge of testing software, processes and methodologies and failure analysis Knowledge of IT platforms, database design and programming languages Knowledge of some or all of the following: UNIX, NT, database management system. Ability to evaluate, diagnose and troubleshoot problems Knowledge of materials and components used in the construction of systems and printed circuit boards and subassemblies Knowledge of industry and quality standards for incoming materials Ability to evaluate materials, gather and analyze data and determine root cause of problems Responsibilities: Provides the necessary engineering support and coordination of prototype build to ensure that new assemblies are completed on time and on budget Provides feedback to appropriate engineering and support groups to ensure smooth transition from prototype to production Reviews and interprets customer specifications Evaluates new equipment, coordinates software and hardware upgrades, sets equipment specifications and qualification tests and recommends new equipment. Acts as the focal point for all product-related technical issues associated with new products and supporting processes Interacts with customers to resolve problems and increase the quality and yield of the product and/or the product data release process Physical Demands: Duties of the position are performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, operating machinery, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required Interested candidates currently seeking employment should e-mail their resume to .
