Natural ADABAS Developer, #10902

LOCATION: CHICAGO, IL - O'Hare Area
SALARY: $70,000 - $90,000

SHORT SCOOP:
Short Scoop - Experienced with Development, Data Modeling, Natural, Cobol, Software AG and ADABAS.

SUMMARY:

• Key person providing programming expertise - Development of business systems applications from detailed specifications.
• Experienced with Datamodelling, meta data, and data dictionaries.
• Must have project management for individual projects - Establishing schedules, track and document the results of each phase of the project. Anticipate and identify issues as they arise; monitor and report to management on the status of efforts.
• Knowledge of providing on-going productions support of application including correction of any errors within the system.
• Provide technical consulting support on projects/system initiatives.
• Must be hands on and review code of developers.
• Key aspect of role is to foster and maintain good relationships in order to meet expected customer service levels.

EXPERIENCE:
* Ability and history of managing multiple concurrent projects.
* Excellent communication skills - interpersonal, oral and written communications, and organizational skills.
* Experience in gathering requirements, functional design, and working with business processes.
* Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle and Datamodelling.
* Technical knowledge including knowledge of relevant technology, tools, data base methods and Middleware.
* Natural, Cobol, Software AG, ADABAS.
* Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.
* Strong analytical skills to translate business requirements into specifications.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in related discipline
