Qualifications (Key Skills, Education and Experience): *Experience with design, planning and trouble-shooting network related problems in an enterprise environment with expertise in Cisco routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls. Must have experience with Cisco PIX, ASA, 3550, CSS 11500, 3800 and 3700 series routers, 7609 & 4500 switches, Home Agent/Foreign Agent and MWAM technology. *Strong working knowledge of network and Internet protocols such as VoIP, GigE, 10/100 Ethernet, HSRP, OSPF, BGP, DNS, TCP/IP, IPSec & NAT. *Strong knowledge of multi-vendor VPN configuration. *Strong knowledge of firewall rules and functions. *Strong knowledge of wireless packet technologies: Mobile IP, Simple IP, 1xRTT, EvDO, GPRS and EDGE. *Proven experience in leading large to small technical projects with demonstrated oral and written ability to communicate with team members. Must know when to ask for assistance, and when to give assistance. Must be approachable, teachable, a team player with a strong desire to continue learning and expanding their experience in a highly evolving security focused environment. *Willingness to work beyond core business hours, if necessary, to minimize business interruption during planned or unplanned system modifications. *Possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Education/Relevant Experience: *Undergraduate degree in computer science or related field or requisite job experience. *5+ years of experience in a network and/or engineering role or equivalent network architectural capacity with proven experience in enterprise network architecture, management, capacity planning & monitoring. *Recent Cisco Certifications (i.e. CCNA, CCNP, and/or CCDA) are required. *Experience within telecom and familiarity with the CDMA/GSM telecom model is a plus. **** If you feel like you are a good fit for the position, please send your resumes to reetika.sachdeva@rht.com ASAP for consideration ****
