Description
Genesis10 is seeking a Net Developer for an 8 months contract in Iowa.
**Note..W2 only; No Third Parties....US Citizen/Green Card Holder only.

Mid level developer needed for design, development, and test of software. The Developer is responsible to design, modify, develop, write and implement software programming applications. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, and certification of software. Works as part of a development team.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Use .Net technology to build software applications for internal use
Collaborates with development team to develop software application
Make application design decisions
Document code written using internal standards
Make code changes to existing software as needed
Debug and test software with internal business stakeholders
May include management of development projects as needed

Experience/Skills
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
2+ years of developer experience with .Net in the field of software development
A bachelor's degree in a required and/or 4-6 years of experience in the field of software development
Familiarity with insurance or financial applications
Familiar with a variety of the field concepts, practices, and procedures
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
May report directly to a project lead or manager
Strong programming skills using ASP.NET and/or VB.NET (VB.NET preferred and C# a plus), Web development languages (HTML, Javascript, CSS), XML, Object Oriented Design, n-Tier Architecture
An excellent understanding of SQL (including stored procedure development, relational database design and DTS development)
Technical, problem solving, communication and documentation skills and UI design are essential
Ability to work well with others and to take direction
Ability to develop both reactive and proactive resolutions related to changing contact center needs
Ability to manage multiple and concurrent tasks
