Network Administrator/System Administrator

Robert Half Technology has a need for consultant based network administrators. As a Microsoft Certified Gold Partner We have on going opportunities with our clients in the great Akron area from 1 week to 1 year. Robert Half Technology is looking for intelligent and resourceful individual to join their Technology group as a Windows Network Administrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the development server environment (approximately 100 plus users and 20 plus servers) including Windows server 2000/2003 and Exchange Server 2003. In this role, the candidate will take the necessary steps to minimize any downtime by monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuring specific technical issues.

Network Administrator/System Administrator

RE SPONSIBILITIES and REQUIREMENTS:

  • Windo ws Server 2003 administration and implementation
  • Experience supporting Exchange Server 2003
  • Use ticketing system to track technical issues
  • Solid understanding and administration of Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) a plus.
  • Setting up Active Directory, from scratch and maintenance of, including Group Policy Objects.
  • Previous experience with Active Directory migrations and/or consolidations.
  • Update software, operating systems, security patches, WSUS
  • Hands on VoIP and firewall experience preferred but not required.
  • Some exposure to SAN is desired.
  • DNS server builds
  • DHCP, TCP/IP, WINS, DFS
  • Provide Desktop and Help Desk support when necessary, technologies include Windows 2000/XP, Blackberry, and application support.
