Description
We have an immediate opening for a Network Administrator with expertise in Windows operating systems. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our IT office. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. • Handle multiple tasks and prioritize based on urgency • Document instructions, system and network changes, as well as ongoing and resolved issues • Support a wide variety of (primarily) Windows end-user software • IS purchase recommendations, analysis of requirements, possible improvements, and other IS solutions • Complete Support of Windows 2003 based platforms • Install and troubleshoot software and hardware on Windows systems Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements: • Strong written and verbal communication • Excellent time-management and organization • End-user helpdesk experience • Understanding of TCP/IP and networking essentials • Working knowledge of VPN technology • Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and SharePoint Portal Server • Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 • Experience with Windows 2003 Active Directory: DNS, DHCP, Services for Unix • Network Cabling • Understanding of wireless technologies • Blackberry Enterprise Server and Blackberry Devices • Sonicwall Firewalls • EMC Network Backup Software • IP Phones For immediate consideration please e-mail Sonya Pickett at sonya.pickett@rht.com or call me at 240-497-1042

Experience/Skills
Qualifications - Minimum of 5 years in network administration. - Strong Microsoft systems administration skills (MSCE), Law firm or Professional experience a plus. - Experience installing network software and hardware. - Must be detail-oriented person. - Ability research, analyze and resolve problems; ability to work professionally under pressure.
