IT Infrastructure Specialist- Security Engineer - Network Engineer, IT, Government

If you have 3+ years being a Network Administrator working in a DoD or DoN environment and possess CISSP certification with a minimum of Secret clearance, please read on!

To be considered for this position, you must have CISSP certification and at least active Secret clearance!

This position is in Washington DC. It is a 7 month contract, but has the potential for a 5 year renewal.

What you need:
- A minimum active SECRET security clearance
- CISSP or GIAC certification
- 3+ years as a Network Administrator or Engineer, specifically in designing, integrating, and maintaining large scale IT platforms, such as Local Area Networks (LANs) and WANs. Relevant hands on experience with firewalls, intrusion detection, anti-virus management and DMZs.
- 3+ years working for DoD and/or DoN agency
- Knowledge of MSC Information Assurance's (IA) policy is a plus!
- Direct experience with Sidewinder firewalls and various security products is highly preferred!


What you will be doing:
- You will maintain MSC's in depth incident response and reporting process by ensuring MSC's IT assets and organizations have the tools and guidance to minimize information security incidents.
- Will assist in the tracking and maintenance of all MSC perimeters network security components.
