Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

To maintain the IT infrastructure and ensure its continuity and stability. This is process oriented. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, one or more processes described below.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintaining IT infrastructure, including various systems and applications, and ensure continuity and stability of the IT work environment. This includes setting up, configuring and supporting internal and/or external networks, pc's, servers, software, applications, back up process, security and the like.

Troubleshooting network performance issues and creating and maintaining a disaster recovery plan.

Coordinating with Nucletron Veenendaal on outstanding IT items.

Coordinating with vendors on service agreements and calls.

Recommending upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.

Providing technical support and guidance to users.

Maintaining, reconciling and safeguarding the IT inventory.

Experience/Skills
BS in IT or related area or relevant experience Relevant recent ICT experience (4-6 years) primarily in a Windows based server/pc environment Broad IT knowledge (not telco/hardware expert) High level of latitude and creativity High level of flexibility Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Ability to work according to structured solutions Strong interpersonal skills
