Description
Robert Half Technology has a high tech position in the world of WAN Architecture.This WAN Architect will play a role with our client in the WAN Architecture group Network Services dept. This WAN Architect will be working in a complex networking environment where the department manages a 2,000 site network around the world. The WAN Architect will be using all the WAN technologies from several different network providers. This particular network is powered by Cisco routers, the Voyence configuration management tool or the Route Explorer system will lead to a challenging assignment for any WAN Architect. The WAN Architect's duties may include implementing MPLS networks in China or EMEA. Experience with documenting technical strategies could lead to planning and implementing across a large enterprise or planning equipment upgrades halfway across the world. This WAN Architect should be experienced with WAN Optimization equipment and will have a opportunity to work on a new deployment at hundreds of sites.

Experience/Skills
1).5+ years Experience in WAN Architecture2).Experience with EEMEA,MPLS, is a plus3).Several years experience on Cisco IOS, TCP/IP, BGP, IPSEC, EIGRP and computer networking systems is essential.4). Knowledge and direct experience of WAN technologies including ATM, Frame Relay, MPLS, and Metro Ethernet services is desirable. 5).Experienced with interfacing WAN architectures to the L2 technologies
