Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technologies professionals, has an immediate opening for a Network Associate Technician.


Responsibilities

The Associate Technician responsible for the analysis and resolution of customer impacting faults in wireless network. This position is required to have a comprehensive understanding of the architecture and composition of complex wireless voice and data networks.

A cert or equivalent hands on experience
Basic networking skills. Domain logins, user account setup
Windows install and setup
General portable and desktop hardware knowledge regarding installation and removal of communication related devices (WLAN, WWAN, BT, etc)
Familiar with setting up/configuring wireless APs
WiFi security protocols (EAP, LEAP, WPA, WEP, etc)
General WiFi knowledge as it pertains to 802.11a/b/g/n and their differences
Setting up AD-Hoc networks on WiFi devices
Quick study J
Familiar with Bluetooth, mobile broadband devices, and WiMAX are a plus but not required
