Network Designer

Anticipated Assignment Duration: Up to 12 Months

Assignment
Designing network infrastructure to support our client with a focus on Cisco security configuration. (ASA, PIX, FWSM, VPN) Responsibilities include meeting with customers to develop requirements, develop scopes of work, and designing networks to satisfy customer needs while complying with our client's network design standards and security practices. This individual will provide third level technical support to other maintenance groups supporting a large customer community. This individual will be responsible for proficient use of diagnostic tools for both proactive and reactive problem handling.

Primary Responsibilities
1) Designing network infrastructure to support our client.
2) Designing network infrastructure that follows standard security practices and coordinating efforts with other design and security personnel.

Required General Skills
1) Excellent analysis and problem solving skills. Must be able to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Must be able to effectively troubleshoot network implementation issues.
2) Good communication skills. This position is responsible for writing technical documents including: Requirements Analyses, implementation plans, as-built documentation.

Required Technical Skills
1) Network Designer - Expert with 4 years experience.
Experience in designing and implementing networks in security areas. (DMZ, VPN, B2B connectivity, SSL/VPN)
2) Network Designer - Expert with 4 years experience.
Network Protocols: IP (required), EIGRP, etc.
3) Network Designer - Expert with 4 years experience.
LANs Ethernet: Shared, Switched, Fast, Gigabit
4) Network Designer - Expert with 3 years experience.
Experience in designing and implementing changes on Corporate Networks (Greater Than 1000 users) with multiple locations.

Preferred Technical Skills
1) Network Designer - Expert with 4 years experience.
Familiarity with various load balancing technologies. (Cisco CSS, F5 Big IP, Radware Fireproof)df-tc
