My client in North Palm Beach is looking for a Network Engineer. MUST be experienced with Citrix, MUST possess an MCSE, should have experience with Disaster recovery, SQL Server 2003, IIS, Routing and Switching. The candidate must be able to work alone or in a team environment. Must have excellent communication skills. Proposed salary is in the $77k+ range, but ultimately will be a fair market salary based upon the salary history and depth of experience of the candidate. Manage and implement network enhancement projects as assigned. Install new software and upgrades, and maintain existing software with patches and fixes. Maintain documentation of project progress, meet and work with other contributors as a project team member as appropriate, and test and close out projects. 2. Maintain servers and inter-office telephone systems within an assigned territory. Review server functionality and identify problems. Replace components, interact with vendors, and resolve problems. Escalate to management as needed. 3. Respond to and resolve network related service issues escalated by Service Desk staff. Communicate technical information to non-technical customers in such a way that the information is useful, informative and not confusing. 4. Ensure that backups have been completed, troubleshoot back up process issues, and ensure backup tapes are organized, labeled and sent offsite for storage. 5. Ensure that the systems for replication of data to the hot site are operational. Test systems to ensure rollover in event of disaster. 6. Maintain current awareness of emerging technologies and recommend business related enhancements and upgrades. 7.
