Description
LAN Network Engineer / Installation Specialist, specializing in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with complimentary software and hardware. Position to be based out of Springfield, MO with average of 50% to 60% travel throughout the USA. Primary knowledge and experience will include Installation, Troubleshooting, and Support of Microsoft technology-based networks. This will include an understanding of IP WAN / Cisco router environments as they relate to their connected LAN's. Working knowledge of Cisco routers and IP technology beneficial. Some of the primary duties of this position include: Professional and efficient communication to peers, management, and customers. Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks, completing them with quality in a timely and efficient manner. Ability and desire to constantly learn and implement new technology, as well as consistently install and support networks using existing standards and procedures. Initial expectation for this position is to be a team member, quickly adapting to the teams methods of implementing and remotely supporting networks. Expectation for growth and advancement is to become a team leader, implementing and supporting networks, as well as providing direction to peers and interfacing more with the customer.




Experience/Skills
Successful candidate will have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2000/2003 network environments. MCSE plus other current industry standard certifications are beneficial. Position requires self motivation, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and putting quality closure to installation and support tasks.

Must be able to travel 50-60% of the time.
Jack Henry takes care of travel expenses up front.

Citizenship: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
