Time for something new? Check out this Network Engineer position! Are you ready for a challenging opportunity as a Network Engineer? Do you want this opportunity to be with a leading Telecommunications Firm? If so, this position is for you! In this role you will be responsible for a variety of activities, both specialized and large-scale, related to the BSC, RBS, RNC, RSP, MSN and Node-B. This includes, but is not limited to, cell definition within the MSC and RNC, Node B rehomes, BSC/RNC rehomes, 911 phase changes and many special projects related to the RAN. You will perform remote data translations in varying types of equipment and technologies (2G, 3G UMTS) to support client wireless infrastructure. In many case,s the position requires you to create and document methods and procedures, work within larger project teams, and create and test configuration scripts prior to implementation. You must also attend project calls and perform off hours work. You will be an SME as it relates to MSCs, RNC/BSCs, and Node B/Cell Sites remote data translations. This position will focus on the Alcatel Lucent 3G RAN and MSC technology. Wonderful 24+ month contract opportunity to work with an industry leader in Schaumburg, IL!
