Description
Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate need for a Network Engineer with a leading company in Sierra Vista, Arizona.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience
o (An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement)
Candidate MUST have a Current/Active Secret clearance.
Must be able to work under supervision, as well as independently
Must have above average communication skills (both written and verbal) and be able to write test plans and reports
Must be able to travel (up to 25%)

Must Have:
Strong computer/network experience with troubleshooting abilities
Experience with loading software applications
Understanding of TCP/IP and associated network components such as Switches, Routers, and Firewalls
Strong knowledge of Client Server relationships, and of Web and application Servers.
Strong knowledge of Unix administration
Ability to interface directly with customers
Secret clearance or be able to attain Interim Secret clearance within 90 days
Willingness to travel (1 - 4 times annually for one to two weeks)

Should have:
Strong technical writing skills
Education/training in Redhat Enterprise Server, Unix (with knowledge of Solaris 7 and 8)
Briefing skills, good working knowledge of MSOffice (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
Formal developmental and/or operational testing experience
.WAN and LAN technical experience a plus*
