Requirement Notes: Four Different Shifts (a) Wed-Sun 12pm-8pm (b) Mon-Fri 12pm-8pm (c) Tues-Sat 12am-8am (d) Thurs-Mond 12am-8am This position is for a Network Analyst who will work in a 7x24 network operations center monitoring and managing WAN, LAN and VOIP (Voice over IP) networks for Domestic and international clients. Hours must be flexible and may be rotational as determined by the needs of the business. This position requires that the analyst be able to dynamically multitask across numerous issues and clients in a high pressure SLA driven environment. In addition, engages equipment and service vendors that support network operations. Interface with client by responding to client requests and notifying them of network problems and the impact on customer's business. Interface with vendors as needed on client's behalf to resolve network issues. The successful candidate MUST have demonstratable Data-Networking knowledge and experience to include Cisco and/or Nortel Routers, TCP/IP, and Circuit troubleshooting. This is an absolute requirement for this position. Required skills: . - Advanced WAN troubleshooting/problem determination. (Frame Relay, ISDN, ATM, and Private Line) -LAN troubleshooting/problem determination. (Ethernet, VTP, Token Ring, HSRP) -Advanced knowledge of Cisco and/or Nortel Router troubleshooting/problem determination and maintenance. -Excellent understanding of routing and routing protocols. (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, etc.) -Advanced understanding of TCP/IP. -Basic Unix user skills, minimum. Desired Skills: -MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) experience. -VPN (Virtual Private Network) experience. - VOIP (Voice over IP) Minimum 2 years experience in network support/management. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. Professional Networking Certifications desired: CCNA/CCNP, Nortel. Preference will be given to contractors with previous operations experience at the AT&T GCSC to reduce ramp up time.
