Description
Robert Half Technology has an IMMEDIATE need for a Lead Systems Administrator. Responsibilities:- Leading team and working with people- Managing, troubleshooting, and implementing servers in Microsoft Windows, Linux, and UNIX operating system environments- Reviewing, managing, and performing upgrades for systems and software packages to ensure minimum downtime to the business- Providing high levels of support to users and other network systems personnel- Maintain change management documentation on technical and operational issues - Monitor server storage space and server performance- Assist in capacity planning to optimize system performance - Analyze and resolve server hardware, software and connectivity issues - Manage server upgrades, directory structures, system and user rights and user environments, software and file services- Ensure that systems are tuned at the highest level of security, up-time and performance, consistent with industry and technology best practices

Experience/Skills
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years experience in server and systems management • Team leader/management skills. Must be good communicator• SAN related management (HP EVA), SAN Infrastructure and Fiber Channel • Citrix Presentation Server experience• Web Sphere and Web methods experience desirable• Server OS Hardening and standardization.• User and Computer Account Administration and MS Security Administration.• Documentation skill for all related tasks• Windows Server Administration including DNS, DHCP, WINS, Active Directory, network addressing, protocols, interfaces, and TCP/IP environments.• Microsoft security patching for 200+ servers• Linux RedHat Enterprise tuning, configuration and troubleshooting skills• The position has occasional after hours support requirements
