Gaming company is seeking a candidate who will manage the Network group to ensure all responsibilities are being performed. The Network Manager will perform human resource duties to including, but not limited to: staff evaluation, training, and promotion. The Network manager will maintain established local Network policies, procedures, and objectives. They will be working with Corporate Support Personnel to maintain Corporate level policies, procedures and objectives, (to include but not limited to 3rd party security standards (i.e. Muti-State Lottery Association- MUSL and World Lottery Association -WLA standards). The Network Manager will work closely with Network personnel to effectively maintain our Local and Wide area networks while maintaining internal telephone system and NT Client Server network. The Network manager will operate all network equipment to include but not limited to VSAT’s, Cisco Routers, Hubs, Switches, PIX and ASTARO Firewalls. The Network manager will be responsible for the continual improvement of network design in accordance with latest industry technologies and the maintenance of current Network Maps (MS Visio). Additional responsibilities will include identifying and investigating complex system malfunctions, isolating cause of error and implement solution to resolve user and software errors. This position requires contact with liaison with vendors for resolution of hardware problems. The Network Manager will also plans and implement upgrades to network, handling the conversion from T1(copper) to Satellite - VSAT will be required. The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and/or Telecommunications, with 8 or more years of progressively responsible experience, with at least two of those being supervisory/management experience. Candidate must have RF & Satellite experience,CCNP certification, CCIE written certification, as well as an advanced working knowledge of VOIP, VPN, IPSEC, PIX, ASTARO and Concentrators. The qualified candidate will maintain current knowledge of networking hardware, software and standards, and have advanced knowledge of operating systems such as. Unix, Linux, Windows.
