Description
Immediate need for a Network Operations Manager within the Telecommunications industry. The individual must have the ability to script and load translation files and load software corrections/patches into Nortel and Ericsson switches. Directly responsible for supervising management positions. Provides strategic technology and infrastructure decisions to support the service delivery of system availability and response to clients throughout the enterprise. Manages the integration and operation of all infrastructure processes and functions i.e. storage management, operating system, DBMS's, system software, hardware, performance and tuning, change/problem management, automation tools and hardware software vendor management. In addition, responsible for providing for high availability of the business applications processed by the data center as well as tracking service results and ensuring that problems are identified and that their root causes are eliminated. May be responsible for managing the installation, testing, distribution, change control, capacity planning, maintenance and automation of software and/or hardware systems/subsystems associated with various operating environments.df-tc
