One of the leading telecom companies in the Durham, NC area has an immediate need for a full time Network Security Administrator.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting and monitoring clients network security infrastructure. He/she will be validating attacks against clients networks and assessing the impact. If any countermeasures are required, the candidate is responsible for making the appropriate recommendation and implementing the resolution. He/she will be defining, tracking and maintaining the standard baselines and configuration sets of all managed and/or monitored security devices and implementing industry best practices with regards to firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN and network configurations.

Required:
. Minimum of 4 years Network Security experience
. Bachelor's degree in technical field
. Demonstrated success in managing, analyzing and solving complex network technical issues
. Cisco IDS/IPS, Cisco Pix, Checkpoint NG, Nokia IPSO,
. Juniper/Netscreen Firewall, Snort IDS, Syslog analysi
. Windows/Linux/Unix Security configurations
. IP Packet Analysis
. Intrusion detection experience


Desired:
. CCSP, CISSP, CCSA, CCSE, CCNP+S, CCIE Security Written, GIAC
. Routing/Switching
