This organization's flagship security solution, minimizes the impact security incidents have on critical information assets by pinpointing the location of threats as they occur, isolating them, and enabling intelligent response efforts.

The company is developing breakthrough Enterprise Security Management software technology designed to integrate, monitor and manage distributed network security infrastructures. US companies spent $273 billion in the previous 12 months responding to and recovering from IT security breaches. The organization's product is designed to substantially cut these costs, improve system availability, and maintain business continuity.

Role Description:
The organization is seeking an ambitious, driven and personable IT professional who will perform the role of Network Security Delivery Engineer. This individual will be responsible for implementing the company's proprietary product at customer sites and will also perform system configuration, tuning and provide end user training. Travel will be required (25%). In addition, this individual's experience will be invaluable in working with the R&D team to specify requirements and provide product feedback throughout the software development and QA lifecycles. Although previous software development experience is not necessary, the successful candidate will have or be required to gain an appreciation for the software development process.

Qualifications:
Qualified individuals will have at least 3 years experience in a relevant information technology field, preferably in network and/or security administration. Experience with multiple operating systems, primarily Linux, Windows, and Unix variants, is required.

Applicants with government security clearance and previous government experience are encouraged to apply.

Experience with large network architectures, the incident investigation and response process, and penetration testing and vulnerability assessment is preferred. In addition, the applicant will demonstrate current knowledge of, or a willingness to learn, the current state of security technologies. Finally, real world experience with open source security tools such as Nessus, NMAP, tcpdump and iptables is also preferred.

Experience/Skills
3+ yrs exp in network and/or security admin. Experience with multiple operating systems, primarily Linux, Windows, and Unix variants, is required. Exp with large network architectures, the incident investigation & response process, penetration testing & vulnerability assessment is preferred.
