Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent and two years enterprise experience in a related field or at least six years enterprise experience in a related field.

Required Skills: The Network Security Engineer candidate must demonstrate a complete understanding of Data and Network Security and how to implement Security across a corporate network. Must also demonstrate the ability to perform problem analysis, logically organize and prepare technical documentation, and effectively communicate (oral and written). - AD, and NT (id creation, access permissions, rights, audits, policies, etc.) - Solaris administration (id creation, ACL-s, profiles, groups, etc.) - Checkpoint Firewall VSX administration - Proxy server administration - ISS experience - IDS RealSecure Intrusion Detection System - Juniper Intrusion Prevention - Problem Analysis - The ability to effectively communicate and speak fluent English - SAP Security Administration - Certificate Management - PGP Management (Pretty Good Privacy)

Major Activities

This position requires a candidate with strong technical and communication skills that will allow them to directly support all aspects of Network Security from a centralized location. This assignment will focus on Checkpoint VSX installation and support and Juniper Intrusion Prevention installation and support. This individual will have day-to-day responsibilities that include monitoring, optimizing, problem resolution, root cause analysis, and managing all aspects of access to specified systems. This position will interface directly with the Service Level Coordinators and is responsible for communicating the technical facts and issues to all parties involved. Participation in an on-call rotation schedule and after hours work is a requirement for the person accepting this position. Key success factors include: the ability to quickly learn; the ability to troubleshoot access issues, the ability to adhere to the change management process, and the ability to work in a team environment.df-tc
