Skills Needed

As an IT Security Engineer you will perform day-to-day National security operation duties including threat identification and notification, vulnerability assessments, global incident response and management of intrusion detection alerts, responses and actions. This position is responsible for understanding the corporate policies related to IT security and applying these policies to IT practices.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Working knowledge of Microsoft 2000/2003 Server. Microsoft Active Directory. AS400-iSeries Security Administration. Cisco Products such as: Pix Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and Routers.
Wireless Network Access Points and Protocols.
Must have a base knowledge of security tools and methodologies and direct relevent experience in IT Security in enterprise environments.
Technical knowledge of and hands-on experience with networks, TCP/IP, firewalls, routers, and intrusion detection systems, sniffers, syslog, TACACS+, SSH, VPN, SSL, and PKI
Must possess a broad range of technical skills in all facets of information technology including networking, operating systems, applications, firewalls, and security technologies
Assist with Active Directory, Network, Windows, Sun, AS400 and AIX administrators to update system configurations to maintain the program's security posture.

Technical and security certifications required, one ore more of the following: CISSP, CCNA, CCIE, GSEC,
