Description
Our client, a major Fortune 500 company is looking for a Network Security Specialist - Senior in Woonsocket, RI.

Job Responsibilities:

In this highly visible role, you will work closely with the IS officer, security team and other IT support teams to insure a protected Information Technology infrastructure is maintained.

The security specialist will advise leadership of potential security threats and mitigation strategies and review multiple metrics, correlate anomalies that impact multiple systems, determine root causes and implement corrective action.

Selected candidate will analyze security environment, developing security measures for data to safeguard confidentiality and integrity of information.

This role is approximately 80% project work and 20% support for implementation and assessment of IT security.

You will work closely with managers to ensure all assigned team members have adequate resources and training for assignments.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Required Skills:

Must Have experience with Checkpoint/Nokia & Cisco Pix design, installation & support.

Must have Familiarity with UNIX technologies (Sun & Solaris).

Strong documentation skills, both policy & procedures.

Internal/external audit experience (SAS70, HIPAA, ISO9000).

RSA Support.

Support of an LDAP environment.

Must have experience with VPN (site-to-site & client).

Desired Skills:

ESM/ITA/SCSP implementation & support experience.

Experience with Siteminder/Identity Manager support.

Certifications:

CISSP(Desired)
