Description
Description The Network Services Support Consultant will be responsible for a variety of activities, both specialized and large-scale, related to the BSC, RBS, RNC, RSP, MSN and Node-B. This includes but is not limited to cell definition within the MSC and RNC, Node B rehomes, BSC/RNC rehomes, 911 phase changes and many special projects related to the RAN.

Engineers will perform remote data translations in varying types of equipment and technologies (2G, 3G UMTS) to support the wireless infrastructure. In many cases, the position requires the Engineers to create and document methods and procedures, work within larger project teams, and create and test configuration scripts prior to implementation. The engineers must also attend project calls and perform off hours work. The engineers are SMEs relating to MSCs, RNC/BSCs, and Node B/Cell Sites remote data translations. This position will focus on the Alcatel Lucent 3G RAN and MSC technology.

  • Alcatel Lucent Media Gateway - Expert Required
  • Alcatel Lucent T1 Adds - Expert Required
  • IUCS, IUPS, IUR and IUB Provisioning - Expert Required
  • Engineers with hands-on Experience in a Live Network - Expert Required
