Job description

The PMTS (Performance Management Testing and Scalability Services) national practice in Gaithersburg, MD is looking for a lab manager to support a long term contract for a financial services company.
Candidate will be required to provide networking and Mainframe HW infrastructure support for a Mainframe system hosted and supported out of the Gaithersburg, MD facility.
The candidate must have level 3 networking skills and must be familiar with Brocade and Cisco Switches and routers.


The position requires good personal skills working with customers and some knowledge of large systems infrastructure, particularly with z10 Mainframe computer, DS8300 and Hitachi DASD and networking HW to support high speed data transfer.

The job requires mostly 9 AM to 5 PM ET lab support but there will also be scheduled and non-scheduled weekend support required.
